The Dubai Gold Souk recorded its highest single-day visitor count this year during the ongoing Dubai Shopping Festival. Jewellery retailers across the Deira district reported significant increases in both tourist and resident purchases, with 24K gold bullion and 22K jewellery leading sales.

Industry experts attribute the strong demand to competitive pricing, the weakening of major Asian currencies, and the region’s traditional affinity for gold as a store of value.
